Today I learned about an instrument called the Chapman Stick – It been around since the 1970’s. This musical instrument is freaking awesome. What can I say. I love innovative things. This really is a cool instrument that looks like a guitar, but played like a Piano. Seems to be harder to master then the piano as this instrument has what is called texture. Take a look as the following videos, and you will see what I mean. The Chapman stick is fully customizable to the player. It has incredible pickup and only a slight touch of the strings makes some beautiful music.  I will let the following videos speak for themself. ENJOY.

Jerry Seinfelds Productivity Secret

I just learned today (TIL) about Jerry Seinfeld’s Productivity Secret. It really is quite simple to follow or do. Get a yearly Calendar. Something like this one.  Here is where you can keep track of something you want to change. Say you want to dedicate yourself to exercising, or taking a photo a day, or as Jerry did an hour of writing each day. When you accomplish that for that day you get to cross off that day with a marker. You want to keep the chain of days going and not skip any. This keep you motivated and see your progress. If you want to learn more about this technique. Take a look at Lifehacker’s Article on Jerry Seinfelds Productivity Secret. What a great little tip to get you working towards your goal.

Anne Hathaway Rapping about the Batman Dark Knight Rises Photographers

Since watching all the Batman Dark Night Rises – Filming that is going on around Pittsburgh, I thought this was a funny rap in the Style of Lil’ Wayne.

I know several of the “Normal” photographers out there. I have not seen any of the Paparazzi. But I am just trying to get out of town with all the traffic.

This Video is Anne Hathaway’s Lil’ Wayne Style Paparazzi Rap as shown on Conan on TBS

Seeing all the streets closed and all of the snow covered roads as I am sweating was quite a weird look and feel. The tumblers look great. I really can’t wait to see this movie next year.

LaCie XtremKey 16 GB All-Terrain USB 2.0 Flash Drive

Just overhear this being talked about on one of the PodCast I listen too. But I forgot to write down which one I was enjoying at the time. But this LaCie XtremeKey 16 GB All-Terrain USB 2.0 Flash Drive seems to be the cat’s meow.

With many features such as a 2mm thick full metal casing.  It is hot, cold, water, pressure and drop resistant. But only when closed. This Drive has fantastic write and read performance. And this comes with a wear-resistant braided metal cable ring. And this device performs equally between PC’s and Mac’s.

As I mentioned the metal casing can withstand a truck up to 10 tons.

And this sturdy drive can survive 200° C or 392° F or survive the frigid temps as low as -50° C or -122° F

Plus up to 333 ft deep water resistance.

This is just a really cool drive and a 16GB Drive is $74 (9/13/2010)

I can’t wait to try one of these drives out. With the speed rated at 40MB/s Read and 30MB/s Write this could be a really nice drive to have with you. Having this when you need a some files or need to save files that you need to take with you or take back home can be a really life saver knowing they are really protected.

This can also be a great place to store all your confidential info and keep it with you at all times. What a better way then with something that is this disaster resistant. Yes you can keep some of your info in the clouds but what do you do when the connection to the clouds are severed.
