Fountain Pen Update

Just wanted to give everyone a quick note about some Fountain Pens. I think I started something between some friends as my friend John sent me an email telling me he asked for one for Christmas and received from his girlfriend a True-Writer Fountain Pen. He was telling me how much he loves writing with this new fountain pen. He told me that he only has been using the blue ink from Levengers but wants to try more. He was given the sample ink pack and said he can’t wait to go thru all the various ink colors.

So, Did anyone else get a Fountain Pen for Christmas – or Gave themselves their own give ;-)

Just playing around with the iPhone - and downloaded a great relaxing iPhone App – called Ambiance - This gives you about 20ish environment enhancers. (Rain, Rain on Tin Roof, White Noise, Pink Noise, Ocean, Stream, and Many More) It has to be the best 99 Cents I have spend for the iPhone. I used it several times today – This morning on the bus I started the white noise plugged in the earphones and was able to enjoy the rest of the ride into work in total peace. Now the software alone is not good enough to block out all the noise that is why I would not trade my shure earphones for anything else.
I also got to use it at work this afternoon when I was doing a bunch of work on a group of computers and I popped in the earphone and was able to block out all the office noise and concentrate on all the work at hand.

Had to share this review of the Dark Knight – A friend at work got to see it on Tuesday and she loved it and will be seeing it again – She confirms that you need to see it on IMAX – With several of the sections filmed for IMAX – I am told they just POP and are Fantastic. Most of the movie is show letterbox but when the IMAX portions are on the screen they fill up the screen and come alive. (Just what I have heard) I can’t wait – I have my ticket for Saturday at the local IMAX theater. I really can’t wait – I just hope I can make it without anyone spilling the beans on how the movie was.

Ok I just got to play with another cool wallet. My friend Don had this and I had to look it over and see what it was. Don said he loves using this wallet as it keeps everything together without much fuss. Has his drivers license, debit card, health insurance card, and frequent player card to one of the casinos. I have seen these for sale on TV but Amazon has them now. Check out all the great comments. All I have to say is this is neat and usefull! I am buying one today!

I just came across this video of Andy Warhol – Who happens to be one of my favorite artists. Another Pittsburgher like iJustine that started video blogging. This video below is just a small sample of Andy Warhol’s interest in everyday objects and making it art. Yes, it is a little strange – but no more stranger then what people do on a daily basis video blogging, podcasting, blogging. Real life recorded – Some art – some journalistic – and some just plain weird. But that is just me. Now my comment on this video – Andy didn’t know the secret of getting Heinz Ketchup out of the bottle – Holding it at a 45 degree angle and hitting the bottle on / around the Heinz logo on the glass.
